Umberto is an artist whose work is distinctly cinematic. Composer Matt Hill's performances and delicate compositions taken together have the cumulative ability to surprise. Hill, whose Umberto moniker is an homage to director Umberto Lenzi, is an experienced and active film composer, most recently scoring the film All That We Destroy. In addition to film and commercial work, Umberto has released a number of lauded solo recordings. On Umberto's Thrill Jockey debut Helpless Spectator, his haunting music is otherworldly and affecting alike, leaving the listener with an unsettling and profound air of mystery.Umberto's early recordings harken back to classic synth-driven sci-fi and horror soundtracks. Helpless Spectator uses synthesizers in an entirely different manner. Cold, looming monolith tones are now warm, softer pads that envelope the listener while guitar, cello, banjo and pedal steel add movement and light. Still, Hill unsettles with his arrangements and melodic phrasing. Unexpected shifts and turns in even the most tender movements of Helpless Spectator are inflected with a contemplative melancholy and fragility.Umberto makes masterful use of varied textures throughout the album, blending supernatural effects and grounded instruments to create distinct atmospheres. Ok but not Leather

I will say it's fairly durable but when the description uses the word leather..one would expect LEATHER, not microfiber. That said..it is thick and pretty durable and the dog does like it ok. Obviously the strap is NOT meant for chewing. This is not a throw it on the ground and let ur dog have it sort of a toy. It's an interactive toy. If left to the dog most would scissor the strap off in the first 10 minutes. Something to keep in mind. In summation..an ok interactive toy but over priced for the material.

My dogs favorite toy
The tail lasted about 1 minute, but otherwise it has held up pretty good from my super chewer dog, and he treasures it like a prize. I'll need to get a replacement one as its not indestructible, but overall I'm happy with it.

Not as tough as the salmon.
We have the salmon from the same manufacturer and it has endured as few other dog toys have. Unfortunately, the squirrel lasted only two days before developing a ripped seam and began loosing stuffing. Maybe a defective toy based on other reviews.
